I actually finished a quilt. Tonight I completed sewing the binding on my pineapple quilt. Hopefully this weekend I'll actually be able to hang it on the wall.Overall, I feel pretty good about it. It's certainly not going to win any awards... there's too many mistakes. I have learned a lot though. For example, it's worth the $22 to buy the special foot for your sewing machine so that you can make perfect 1/4 inch seems. Also, I really like color. I've already started my next quilt which is made of a bunch of a different fish patterns. The other weekend I worked on it so much that I saw those fish when I closed my eyes to go to sleep that night.
I know it's been forever since I've posted, but I feel like the completed project should be displayed. The next time any of you are at the house, you'll be able to see it proudly hanging in the hallway. :)
